Quick answer
If you love classic maze-chase action with a lower price, choose the Dig Dug Quarter Arcade. If you want a groundbreaking 3D vector-graphics experience and don't mind spending more, the Battlezone Quarter Arcade is your pick.
Gameplay differences
Dig Dug is a maze game where you dig through dirt to defeat Pookas and Fygars by inflating them or dropping rocks. It's strategic, colorful, and easy to pick up. Battlezone, on the other hand, is a first-person tank combat game that pioneered 3D vector graphics. It offers a more intense, skill-based experience with a unique visual style. Your choice depends on whether you prefer classic arcade puzzle-action or a historic foray into early 3D gaming.
Price and value
The Dig Dug Quarter Arcade is priced at $172.49 (down from $249.99), making it a budget-friendly entry into the Quarter Arcade line. The Battlezone Quarter Arcade costs $275.99 (down from $399.99), reflecting its more complex cabinet art and the rarity of a licensed Battlezone replica. If you're cost-conscious, Dig Dug offers great value; if you're a collector seeking a landmark title, Battlezone is worth the premium.
